We love the gumwood trim and the character and charm of the 1930's colonial style with the stair banister and natural wood floors. We also love the renovations we have made since living there updating the old with some new, beautiful and classic kitchen, bathrooms updates and an added mudroom and large deck space. What do you love most about your home? What are the top things you will miss about living here? Being a Boston city resident and all that it offers: while having a quiet suburban feel with access Allendale Woods, Arboretum, Jamaica Pond Franklin Park, George Wright Golf Course and other natural spaces. There are a ton of programs and services offered to residents. What is your favorite memory(ies) about living here? One of my favorite memories was the first night we spent the night in the house. We woke up and could not believe how quiet it was. We expected moving to the city, it would be loud and busy, and were pleasantly surprised! And having the grandkids come over to enjoy playing street hockey in the driveway (which is on quiet side street). What is the most important thing(s) that you want the new owners to know? We have used wonderful local subcontractors and service people that we are happy to refer you to. We made it a priority to take care of the structure and property to maintain it for not only our time there but for future residents.
